You Helped Us Spread Christmas Love!
We were so happy that with YOUR HELP, we were able to send a Christmas gift to our sister church & school in Uganda again this year. We were able to send them 3 boxes that contained 147 children’s story books, 151 toothbrushes and 2 large bags of candy. We also sent them a monetary donation for their Christmas day meal so they could purchase chicken or meat and extra vegetables and a very special donation to cover the cost of cementing their 4 classroom floors! Please see below for a special thank you message from Florence.
Giving never goes out of season! Even though the holidays are over, we continue to find ways to help our friends in Uganda. We are so grateful for your help as we strive to follow Christ’s loving example! For questions, or more information on how you can help through continuing fundraising goals, contact Mike or Jolene Brady at jolene@bradyworks.com or Jeri Heffelfinger at mamajeri@live.com. Thank you!!

From: Florence Subject: IT IS TRULY A BIG SURPRISE!!
Date: December 14, 2015 1:14:26 PM CST
My dearest sister Jolene, Truly this is a big, big surprise to me!! I ran short of words since I received it, each day I wish to write and wonder how to express myself!!
I opened my mail ready to write you my African styled long mail, and send you a few photos for our end of year graduation ceremony, only to find the BIG SURPRISE!!. I shouted loud, laughed loud, worshiped God, my heart was filled with joy and wonder, to the extent that I failed to mail you there and then. My husband was seated opposite the computer talking to a visitor, he kept asking me what had happened, but I could not speak, I kept laughing and praising God for His wonderful works!!
God is so good and amazing!! I really appreciate you darling, together with your house hold members and the church in Iowa at large, for availing yourselves as ready vessels in the hands of God to be used by him! I appreciate God for enlarging your hearts towards his people, working together with Him, loving us and caring for us. Darling, if it were possible to print what is flowing in my heart on mail here for you to read, it would be the best! My prayer is that the spirit of the Living God may minister what is flowing in my heart to you, and deliver the appreciation in your hearts to our brethren!! We are so so so grateful for what God has done through you!!
During our end of the year function, in my speech, I stood boldly and told the parents by faith that ”next year we shall have our four classrooms cemented.” Afterwords I kept wondering how this will be possible, I developed some fears of ” What if it will not be possible?” Praise the Lord who does not let His people down!! He does not let us fall to shame, He daily loads us with His benefits and goodness!!
We are going to be patient until January — that’s when we shall have our classes cemented. That time is more appropriate than now when people are looking for the funds to use during this festive time. They tend to inflate things like sand, aggregate etc
I will keep you posted, and am yet to write my African mail… ha ha ha….!! Sister Jeri mailed me , and I replied to her we are so happy about her visit to Uganda! We are keeping her in our prayers for divine provision and safety for her journey!
Pass my love and appreciation to all the brothers and sisters in the church in Iowa!! I will write again. Love and Blessings across the vast land and oceans, to all of you! .
